咬肌源性前庭诱发肌源性电位(masseter vestibular evoked myogenic potentials,mVEMP)通过听觉-咬肌和前庭-咬肌反射通路记录反应,可用作补充测试评估前庭三叉神经通路功能,可能有助于诊断快速眼动睡眠行为障碍、多发性硬化症、肌萎缩侧索硬化症和帕金森病中的脑干损伤。mVEMP作为临床和放射成像的辅助手段,有一定的临床价值和研究意义。本文对mVEMP机制、检测方法及临床应用进行综述。
Abstract:Masseter vestibular evoked myogenic potentials(mVEMPs), as responses involving the auditory-masseter and vestibular-masseter refiex pathways, can be used as a complementary test to assess function of the vestibular trigeminal nerve pathway to help diagnose brain stem damage in REM sleep behavior disorders, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. as a supplement to clinical and radiographic examinations, mVEMP has certain clinical values and can facilitate research. This article reviews its neural mechanisms and potential clinical applications.
